FCCA20BB Aquafilter is a carbon filter for 20" Big Blue housings. The blend of activated carbons improves the taste and smell of water and effectively reduces chlorine and selected organic contaminants. The filter can help reduce hardness (calcium and magnesium ions), iron, and heavy metals. Suitable for municipal and well water. For longer lifespan, a mechanical pre-filter FCPS or FCPP is recommended.
Description
Filter filled with a mixture of activated carbons. Designed for filtering municipal or well water.
Effectively reduces chlorine, organic substances, some pesticides, improves the taste and smell of water, reduces calcium and magnesium ions (water hardness), iron, and heavy metals.
The filter is intended for 20” Big Blue type housings.
To extend the lifespan, a housing with a mechanical filter from the FCPS or FCPP series should be installed before the housing with the FCCA20BB filter.
*The lifespan of the filter depends on the quality of the water.
