Description of the operation of individual cartridges

1. FCPS5-AB – antibacterial 5 micron mechanical cartridge

FCPS5-AB is a specialized Aquafilter polypropylene cartridge made using BACinix antibacterial technology. It can be used instead of the standard FCPS5 cartridge, while fully retaining its functionality.

The BACinix technology takes water filtration to a higher level, because in addition to classic mechanical filtration the cartridge also acts antibacterially and bacteriostatically on microorganisms present in the water. This solution uses silver nanoparticles, a natural element with bactericidal properties.

2. FCBL10 – 10-inch carbon block

FCBL10 is a carbon block that improves the taste and smell of water. The cartridge removes mechanical impurities larger than 10 microns, reduces chlorine and its toxic derivatives, eliminates lead and toxic heavy metals, and also removes organic compounds, including bacteria.

This is an important stage of water preparation before further filtration in the reverse osmosis system, as it supports the protection of subsequent components and improves everyday user comfort.

3. FCPS1 – 1 micron mechanical foam cartridge

FCPS1 is a mechanical foam cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric. It is responsible for removing larger mechanical impurities not dissolved in water, such as rust, suspended solids, sand, or silt, down to a size of 1 micron.

This filtration stage helps reduce the presence of solid particles and supports the proper operation of the entire water filtration system.

4. AV-GAC-L – 2-inch in-line carbon cartridge

AV-GAC-L is an in-line carbon cartridge filled with activated carbon media. The applied media clearly improves the taste and smell of water by reducing chlorine and other organic compounds.

This is an important element of the final water treatment in the installation, especially where a fresh taste and pleasant smell of drinking water matter.

5. AV-MIN-L – 2-inch in-line mineralizer

AV-MIN-L is an in-line dolomite mineralizer. Osmotic filtration removes from 96 to 99% of all impurities and minerals from water, therefore the mineralizer enriches the water with components lost during the osmosis process.

Water flowing through AV-MIN-L is enriched with elements important for the human body, such as:

• magnesium
• potassium
• sodium

6. AV-REDOX-L – 2-inch ionizing cartridge

AV-REDOX-L is an ionizing cartridge, also referred to as an alkalizer. It saturates the water with hydrogen, which reduces its REDOX potential and raises the water pH.

In practice, this means that the water becomes an effective antioxidant. As an antioxidant, hydrogen binds harmful free radicals, which, when remaining unpaired, can have a degenerative effect on the body.

Ionized water has a wide range of applications and according to the system description:

7. AC-IL-GRD – structuring cartridge

The description of this cartridge's operation states that when water passes through the media, negative information is removed and replaced with positive information. In this way, without physical contact and without chemical modification, water with recorded information is obtained, similar to structured water with a hexagonal structure.
