The set has been prepared as a complete annual service kit for the UST-M RO6 reverse osmosis system. The set includes high-quality cartridges with PZH approval, responsible for mechanical filtration, carbon filtration, and final enrichment of the water with minerals after it passes through the osmosis filter.

Thanks to the properly selected sequence of cartridge operation, the water is cleaned of mechanical impurities, chlorine, and selected compounds affecting taste and odor, and then supplemented with valuable mineral components. This set is intended for users who want to maintain high efficiency of the reverse osmosis system and the comfort of daily use of clean water.

The set includes the following elements:

• 5 micron FPS5 10" foam mechanical cartridge
• BL10 10" carbon block
• 1 micron PS1 10" foam mechanical cartridge
• L-GAC 2" inline carbon filter
• L-MIN-L 2" inline mineralizer

How this cartridge set works

The set has been composed so that the successive cartridges work together to support the RO6 reverse osmosis system. The individual elements perform different functions and together create a coherent filtration system responsible for preparing water for everyday consumption.

1. PS5 / FPS5 10" mechanical foam cartridge

The mechanical foam cartridge made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric is responsible for removing larger, water-insoluble mechanical impurities. It effectively retains impurities such as rust, suspended solids, sand, and silt down to a size of 5 microns.

This is the first stage of water filtration system protection, helping limit the flow of larger particles to the next cartridges and supporting their proper operation.

2. BL10 10" carbon block

The block carbon cartridge improves the taste and odor of water and supports the reduction of undesirable substances present in tap water. It removes mechanical impurities larger than 10 microns, reduces chlorine and its toxic derivatives, eliminates lead and toxic heavy metals, and also removes organic compounds, including bacteria.

This stage is particularly important in systems where not only water purity matters, but also a clear improvement in its practical and organoleptic qualities.

3. PS1 10" mechanical foam cartridge

The second mechanical cartridge, made of polypropylene nonwoven fabric, retains larger water-insoluble mechanical impurities such as rust, suspended solids, sand, and silt down to a size of 1 micron.

More precise mechanical filtration at this stage supports further protection of the reverse osmosis system and helps prepare the water for the next stages of treatment.

4. L-GAC 2" inline carbon filter

The inline carbon cartridge is filled with activated carbon media. The media used significantly improves the taste and odor of the water, while reducing chlorine and other organic compounds.

This is an important element in a system where not only filtration efficiency matters, but also the pleasant taste and odor of water after treatment.

5. L-MIN-L 2" inline mineralizer

Osmotic filtration removes from 96 to 99% of all impurities and minerals from water. The mineralizing cartridge included in the set is responsible for replenishing the components lost during the osmosis filtration process.

The AV-MIN-L dolomite mineralizer enriches the water with elements essential for the human body. Water flowing through the cartridge is enriched with minerals such as:

• calcium,
• magnesium,
• potassium,
• sodium.

As a result, the final stage of the set supports a more balanced water composition after passing through a water filter based on reverse osmosis technology.
