How the waterRO REDOX cartridge set works

Each element of the set is responsible for a different stage of the water filtration system. Regular replacement of the complete set helps maintain the device's effectiveness, stable water quality, and proper operation of all stages responsible for purification, taste and odor improvement, mineralization, and ionization.

AC-IL-PP mechanical cartridge

The polypropylene foam mechanical inline cartridge is responsible for capturing solid contaminants present in the water. This is the first important stage, which reduces the load on subsequent cartridges and prepares the water for further purification.

The AC-IL-PP cartridge removes, among others:

• sand,
• rust,
• sludge,
• river silt,
• pollen,
• microorganisms,
• carbon dust,
• other deposits.

By trapping mechanical contaminants, the subsequent filtration stages can operate more effectively and more stably.

AC-IL-GAC carbon cartridge

The AC-IL-GAC inline cartridge is filled with activated carbon made from coconut shells. Its task is to further purify drinking water and improve its utility parameters.

The AC-IL-GAC cartridge helps remove:

• organic contaminants,
• chlorine,
• lead,
• other heavy metals,
• detergents,
• phenols.

In addition, it improves the taste, odor and color of the water, which is why it is important in the daily use of devices such as an osmosis filter, reverse osmosis filter or an expanded water filtration system.

AC-IL-MIN mineralizing cartridge

AC-IL-MIN is responsible for water mineralization after filtration. Its action consists of enriching filtered water with selected mineral components present in the daily diet, which affects a more natural water profile after treatment.

The cartridge supplements the water with mineral substances such as:

• calcium,
• magnesium,
• sodium,
• potassium,
• chlorides.

Mineralization helps obtain water with beneficial utility properties and a more pleasant character after passing through the reverse osmosis system.

AC-IL-R inline ionizer

The AC-IL-R inline ionizer saturates the water with hydrogen, reduces its REDOX potential and simultaneously raises the pH. This is a stage especially valued by users of systems such as reverse osmosis or a reverse osmosis filter expanded with additional stages for improving water parameters.

Ionized water has a wide range of applications and may have a beneficial effect on:

• digestive processes,
• kidney function,
• regulation of acid-base balance,
• removal of toxins,
• body deacidification.

The cartridge can be installed in a reverse osmosis system.

• Reduces the oxidation-reduction potential (from -50mV to -300mV)
