THE SET CONSISTS OF 3 FILTER CARTRIDGES:

FCPS20M20B mechanical cartridge made of Aquafilter® polypropylene nonwoven fabric. Designed to work with 20” Big Blue® inline housings.

Mainly used as the first stage of drinking and general-purpose water filtration.

The cartridge features excellent contaminant absorption.

The structure of the cartridge resembles the consistency of foam, on the surface of which there is a very large number of open-cell micropores.

Effectively removes sand, silt, rust, and other mechanical impurities present in tap water with grain sizes no smaller than 1-50 microns (depending on the cartridge choice). It effectively contributes to the protection of household water systems and appliances. The polypropylene nonwoven fabric from which the cartridge is made is resistant to chemicals and bacterial growth.

The cartridge is intended for treating cold drinking or general-purpose water.

The product has a current PZH certificate.

The cartridge should not be used for water contaminated microbiologically or of unknown origin.

FCCST20BB - Softening cartridge by Aquafilter®. Designed to work with 20” Big Blue® inline housings.

The resin (fine-grained ion exchange granulate) equipped in the cartridge has a high capacity for exchanging calcium and magnesium ions (the so-called "hardness minerals") for sodium ions.

Hard water contributes to the deposition of scale on heating elements of water heaters and on pipes of the water installation. It accelerates the destruction of household appliances (washing machine, dishwasher), which in turn leads to increased energy demand by these devices. Hard water reduces soap lathering and lowers the effectiveness of detergents used (washed fabrics are stiff, colorless, and unpleasant to the touch).

The FCCST20BB cartridge is intended for treating cold drinking or general-purpose water. It is equipped with a final filter that prevents the escape of resin particles outside the cartridge.

The cartridge lifespan is about 6 months (depending on the quality and quantity of filtered water). The product has a current PZH certificate.

The cartridge should not be used for water contaminated microbiologically or of unknown origin. To extend the cartridge lifespan, a mechanical cartridge from the FCPS or FCPP series should be installed before the housing with the carbon cartridge.

FCCBL20BB-S Silver Aquafilter Cartridge.

To improve the water purification process, coconut shell carbon meeting the rigorous standards of the American NSF hygiene foundation has been used. Thanks to unique solutions, Silver carbon blocks, in addition to the typical properties characteristic of this type of products, fulfill a number of additional functions: they "soften" the water by limiting the rate of scale formation and help reduce existing scale. Additionally, they remove heavy metals (lead, copper, mercury), and even radioactive strontium and cesium from the water.

Furthermore, the SILVER series features the highest lifespan in the category of carbon cartridges on the market.

The FCCBL20BB-S series is intended for treating cold drinking or general-purpose water.
