ALCOBLOW police electrochemical breathalyzer

Police breathalyzer commonly used by the Polish police. AlcoBlow® is a contactless sobriety tester.

Thus, it does not generate additional costs related to the purchase of mouthpieces. The police breathalyzer AlcoBlow® features a high-class electrochemical sensor, which provides high alcohol detection in exhaled air. The quality of the device makes it widely used by uniformed services (police, border guard, prison service, etc.), institutions, and workplaces. The breathalyzer is very economical – it allows for up to 5000 measurements on a single set of batteries and is also easy to use. Its operation is controlled by just 2 buttons and 2 tri-color indicators.

The device has 2 operating modes:

• active – when the tested person activates the air intake system with a sufficiently strong exhalation,
• passive – used when the tested person cannot or does not want to provide an adequate air sample or when we want to check the contents of containers for the presence of alcohol.

The device has an exceptionally short preparation time for operation (about 5 s) and also for the measurement itself (only another 5 s).
