Description
Standard straight quick connector 1/4" GZ x for 1/4" hose (6.4mm)
Connector 1/4" external thread x 1/4" for hose. Used in under-sink water treatment systems, including reverse osmosis systems. The hose attachment involves pushing it firmly into the connector, without the need for additional tightening or sealing with Teflon tape. Additional sealing by wrapping Teflon tape should only be done on the threaded element. This is a basic mounting connector used in home water filters. The 1/4 inch thread is found, among others, in inline filters (cartridges) and in the bodies of under-sink and osmotic filters. A reliable and easy-to-use self-sealing mechanism (quick connector). Every owner of an under-sink water filter should have the A4MC4-W connector "on hand" as a spare.
