External water filter for Side by Side refrigerator
The set includes 2 external WSF100 water filters, also referred to as AICRO/AICR type filters, intended for Side by Side refrigerators equipped with a filter mounted on the rear wall of the appliance. This solution is designed for users who want to improve the quality of water used for drinking, making ice and using the water dispenser.
Aquafilter filters use refined activated carbon, which effectively supports improving the utility properties of water. As a result, the water has better taste and smell, while chlorine and selected organic compounds are reduced.

How the WSF100 filter cartridge works
Inside the filter, a filtration medium based on refined activated carbon has been used. Such a filter cartridge is valued in solutions for improving the quality of utility water because it effectively affects its taste and smell. In practice, this means more pleasant use of water drawn directly from the refrigerator.
The filter is not an element such as a reverse osmosis filter, osmotic filter or a complete reverse osmosis system, but it is a convenient solution for a point-of-use water filtration system in a refrigerator. It works well wherever quick installation, easy replacement and improvement of the quality of water supplied to the appliance matter.
Reduction of contaminants from water
- 99% chlorine
- 96% lead
Application and compatibility
The filters fit Side by Side refrigerators from brands such as: Daewoo, LG, Samsung and others, where the filter is located on the rear wall of the refrigerator. The set is intended for installation with a 1/4" connection, so before installation it is worth making sure that the appliance uses this type of connection.
This is a good choice for people looking for a proven refrigerator filter compatible with an external connection system, without the need for advanced water treatment systems.
Important operating note: the filter is intended for refrigerators in which the external filter is mounted on the rear wall of the appliance. Use the included PTFE tape to seal the connectors, and secure the connections with clips to reduce the risk of the hose coming loose.
Kit contents
- external AICRO type water filter – 2 pcs.
- connector for hose connection – 4 pcs.
- PTFE tape (necessary for sealing connectors) – 1 pc.
- clip for quick connector securing the hose against pull-out – 4 pcs.
Operation and replacement
The filter life is about 6 months, although the actual service period depends on the level of water contamination. Regular replacement helps maintain proper water quality and full filtration efficiency.
In everyday use, it is worth remembering that the replacement frequency may depend on local water quality, the intensity of dispenser use and the amount of ice being produced.
