Three-stage pre-filter for the whole house

This is a complete 3-stage 3/4" in-line pre-filter designed for installation at the main water inlet to a building. The set has been designed to improve the quality of domestic water from the very beginning of system operation while also limiting the negative impact of sediment, hardness, and chlorine on fixtures and home appliances.

The excellent set ensures:

The whole system is easy to install, aesthetically pleasing, and ergonomic. It provides thorough mechanical filtration, removing sand, silt, and rust, improves water taste and odor through the reduction of chlorine and other organic compounds, and softens water, helping protect the system against limescale buildup.

This solution is especially recommended for protecting household appliances, heating equipment, and plumbing installations from the accumulation of calcium and magnesium deposits. It is worth noting that such a pre-filter does not replace systems such as reverse osmosis, an osmotic filter, or an under-sink reverse osmosis filter for drinking water, but it is a very important first stage of protection for the entire home installation.

Original Aquafilter components and practical accessories included

The set is based on original Aquafilter parts and has been prepared as a ready-to-use kit. In addition to the main filtration elements, it also includes accessories that make installation, servicing, and proper cartridge positioning easier.

How 3-stage filtration works

The system's effectiveness is ensured by three specialized filter cartridges from the renowned Aquafilter brand. Each filter cartridge performs a different function, and together they form a coherent system for protecting the installation and improving the parameters of domestic water.

Stage I – FCPS20

In the first stage, the FCPS20 cartridge made of 20-micron polypropylene nonwoven works. It is a cartridge designed to remove mechanical and sedimentary contaminants present in both well water and mains water.

The cartridge effectively traps fine fractions of solid contaminants larger than 20 microns, such as silt, sludge, sand, or rust. This limits the passage of contaminants to the next filtration stages and helps protect more expensive specialty cartridges, the water system itself, and fixtures.

The element is made of high-quality polypropylene nonwoven formed in a way that enables water to be filtered through the entire structure of the cartridge.

Cartridge life: 3–6 months depending on water quality.

Stage II – FCCST

The second stage is the FCCST cartridge, which softens water with ion-exchange granules. Its task is to remove calcium and magnesium ions from the water and replace them with harmless sodium ions, resulting in effective water softening.

This solution is recommended for protecting household appliances, heating equipment, and plumbing systems against limescale buildup.

Advantages of the FCCST cartridge:

• the cartridge contains technologically treated ion-exchange granules with a grain size from 0.2 to 0.7 mm,
• it is characterized by an exceptionally effective ability to exchange calcium and magnesium ions for sodium ions, softening the water,
• used for cold and hot domestic water,
• prevents scale buildup in household appliances and industrial machines,
• the cartridge components have been approved by NSF and FDA,
• the cartridge has a PZH hygienic certificate,
• designed so that water flowing through the cartridge penetrates the entire ion-exchange bed, ensuring maximum performance,
• the cartridge also effectively eliminates unpleasant taste and odor from water, as well as toxic organic compounds,
• the cartridge also contains a 10-micron polypropylene filter insert that removes mechanical contaminants such as sand, silt, or rust.

Cartridge life: 1–3 months depending on water quality.

Stage III – FCCBL-S

The third stage is the FCCBL-S granular carbon cartridge with coconut shell carbon. It is responsible for reducing chlorine and its derivatives as well as improving the taste and smell of the water.

Granular cartridges do not cause a pressure drop in the system, so they work well in systems installed at the main water inlet to the house.

• remove up to 99% of free chlorine from water and chlorine-based compounds,

• remove phenol and benzene from water,
• contain coconut shell carbon,

3-piece Aquafilter housings – leak-tightness and convenient operation

The system uses 3-piece in-line Aquafilter housings designed for quick installation and protection of the water system. This design makes maintenance easier, because when replacing cartridges, you only need to unscrew the ring itself, without turning the entire bowl as in standard 2-piece housings.

The 3-piece housing construction ensures maximum leak-tightness and guarantees easy cartridge replacement. The housing features a transparent 10" bowl, which allows visual assessment of the contamination level of the cartridge inside. The head is equipped with a brass thread.

2 pressure gauges included

The two included pressure gauges allow you to read the pressure values in the system. This is a practical feature that makes it easier to assess system performance and helps determine when cartridge replacement is approaching.

3 antibacterial centering disks

The centering disks are made using BACinix™ antibacterial technology with nanosilver. It is a bacteriostatic agent that prevents the growth of microorganisms inside the filtration system, which enables longer storage time and protects against further microbiological contamination.

Dimensions and installation

The filter is designed for installation at the main water inlet to the house. The compact arrangement of three housings on a frame allows the system to be conveniently integrated into the plumbing installation while maintaining access for maintenance and cartridge replacement.
