Key elements of the softener's operation

BNT7650 control head

The softener is equipped with a BNT7650 series controller with a Polish-language menu, which makes configuration and later system operation easier. This solution is valued for stable, trouble-free operation and intuitive settings.

The head has a MIXING residual hardness valve, which makes it possible to precisely set the hardness of the outlet water. This is a practical solution for users who want to adjust water parameters to the needs of the installation and everyday use.

PUROLITE C100-E ion exchange resin

The heart of the device is PUROLITE C100-E polyspherical ion exchange resin. During the softening stage, calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged for sodium ions, thanks to which the water entering the installation becomes soft.

The ions responsible for water hardness are then discharged into the sewage system during the device regeneration process. This method of operation helps reduce deposit buildup and supports protection of the home installation.

2-stage pre-filter included

The set includes a 2-stage pre-filter with a reusable mesh cartridge and an antibacterial cartridge. The set is installed before the softener to improve the quality of the water supplied to the device and thus protect the resin bed inside the softener.

Such a water filter plays an important role in the entire treatment system. It traps mechanical impurities and supports longer, stable operation of the device. Although it is not a system such as reverse osmosis, an osmotic filter, or a reverse osmosis filter used for drinking water, it is an effective protective stage safeguarding the installation and the softener against solid contaminants.

Filter housing construction

The housing has a 3-piece design. This practical solution makes cartridge replacement easier, because to unscrew the housing it is enough to unscrew only the ring. There is no need to rotate the entire sump, as is the case with 2-piece versions.

Full course of pre-filtration

1. Stage I filtration: Aquafilter FCPNN50M
   The reusable mesh cartridge is used to remove mechanical impurities such as sand, rust, and suspended solids. Its advantage over many other solutions is the ability to clean it and reuse it for water filtration.
2. Stage II filtration: Aquafilter FCPS20-AB
   The 10-inch cartridge made of AQUAFILTER polypropylene foam in Melt-Blown technology retains mechanical impurities such as sand, rust, and silt with an accuracy of 20 microns. BACinix™ nanosilver technology consists of using nanosilver particles in the cartridge structure, which create an environment that limits the growth of microorganisms, has a bacteriostatic effect, and helps extend cartridge life.
