How does a water softener work?

EcoWater eVOLUTION 100 COMPACT operates based on proven ion exchange technology, thanks to which it removes compounds responsible for water hardness from the water.

• in water flowing through a special resin bed inside the device, calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness are exchanged for harmless sodium ions,
• after several or a dozen days, when the ion exchange capacity of the resin bed is exhausted, automatic regeneration of the bed takes place using a water and salt solution,
• regeneration of the bed takes about 2 hours, takes place at a time convenient for you, for example at night, and during it you can use water in the house, but it will be unsoftened water.
